I spend a lot of money on mascara and most of them take at least a couple of applications to give my lashes any base. There has to be a good, one-coat mascara that isn't clumpy.
Any make-up artist's opinions would be appreciated!!

Hi there have you given Victoria's Secret a try ? I was given one as a gift and I had never tried it ...well needless to say I have become a big fan of it.They have lots of colors and types to choose from.Other than that I have liked Great Lash.Best of luck to you.

I personally just use Clinique now because I have sensitive eyes/skin, but I remember Almay making a really great "One-Coat Mascara." I don't really like any of their products otherwise, but their mascara was good and very reasonable.

loreal extension mascara. people always comment on my eyelashes and they aren't even that long with out it. I take two seconds to apply it and I've used the same kind for 2 years now

L'oreal Voluminous is excellent, also Clinique's Long Pretty Lashes is a good one.
