No, it's a CD burner. It doesn't know about DVD format.

Short answer: Nope!
Long answer: You need to get a DVD burner and some blank DVDs and the Burner should come with software to burn DVDs. They are pretty cheap theses days 100.00 and under for good ones.

just go to Comp USA and get prices for a DVD burner. My girlfriend got one for under $60. A DVD burner can also burd a CD.

You cannot burn a DVD with a CD burner. They are two different pieces of equipment.
