Glitter wasn't nearly as bad as everyone said....it just lacked...a good plot. :P

Yes.
Considering she was able to revive her singing career and her fame with the release of her album "The Emancipation of Mimi" (2005) which went on to become the best-selling album of 2005 and eventually went on to win the 2006 Grammy for "Best Contemporary R&B Album", I think she has a very good chance at reviving her acting (career?).

She IS trying... Mariah Carey is filming a movie called Tennessee at the moment.
I think given the right role, Mariah would do just fine. Personally I'd like to see her go for more of a damsel in destress role.

i agree that glitter was not all that bad. it had the misfortune to come out around 9/11 and well hey that says it all. it could've been better as you stated but i thought she did an overall better job in her acting debut than can we say madonna and beyonce so i think w/the acting lessons she can get even better. i hope her new movie has a better script so she can shine. we do have janet jackson who can both sing and act so don't count ms mariah out.

I am not sure about that one. She could try but she would have to meet everyones expectations of being good instead of "Glitter".

I watched a movie that she starred in where she played a waitress in a mafia restaurant and she was pretty beleivable in it. She should go for it. give her a chance.
