Notre Dame has been the most overrated team in College Football since Charlie Weis came in, and even before that. If the Irish dont win a bowl game this season, Weis is done.

And who would they get as a better coach....?????
Tradition is one thing but living in the real world is another, ask any Kentucky coach or UCLA coach after the Legends in their programs retired. Those years of the Dynasty's or over and kids now days would rather play against the big schools than go and be 2nd or 3rd string player at the historic universities......
Charlie knows the game better than most coaches, NFL or college and can recruit better that most. So my questions is if they fire him is his replacement going to be any better.....???

They won't fire him. He'll leave for the Giants coaching job once Mara wisens up and cans Tom Coughlin.

They won't fire him. He'll leave when he gets offered the right NFL job! Won't take long either, 1-2 more years!

Maybe another 3-5 years. Why would they even fire him. He has done so much for that team.
