It is raw, emotional, and personal. It can be slow and sexy, sad, or hard, or joyful rockin'. It can be played by one man with a harmonica- or a full 17 piece band with horns, 5 backup singers and a Hammond Organ. I think it is the most real, and versatile of all styles-

I also like songs with thought-provoking lyrics and originality,
I do not limit myself by genres, as good music often defies categorizing.
