Why do high-school kids make a hit-list? I was picked on and had low self-esteem in high school. And, I had a hit list. MADONNA, I'd hit that. Christie Brinklie. I'd hit that. Sex was on my mind. Now, violence seems to be on kids minds. Why do kids make a hit-list nowadays when it wasn't so in the past? Please dont say Global Warming.

We live in a very violent society. We are racked with substance abuse and all sorts of other social problems. Some people think liberty means having the right to inflict pain on others. Young minds are easily influenced by what they see. After witnessing so much violence in the home, the media, video games, etc., children have begun to act out what they have been exposed to. Showing discipline and keeping one's cool is not a solution anymore. It's an eye for an eye, without concern for the repercussions. If someone steps on your toes, you shoot him, just like the video games. In fact, some people, both young and old, don't appear to know the difference between fantasy and reality.

Because parents arent paying attention to their kids. If people actually paid attention to their children and taught them right from wrong, and our schools actually worked the way they should, we wouldnt have this issue. We have overcrowding in every classroom giving the kid a sense that he isnt noticed or appreciated. Add that to single parents who work two jobs and leaves the kids alone majority of the time to be raised by media and they wonder. To ask why our kids are becoming more violent is a long, intricate, and complicated question that wont be fixed anytime soon. It would take the basic overhaul of the social system in America to fix it and we dont want to do that so we would rather have our kids shoot one another.

people have a tendency to hold all there anger in for whatever reason they feel hurt and lash out buy making a hit list its like they feel like there taking revenge on everyone who did them wrong they need some attention to help them get over whatever crises there going threw a hit list should not be ignored it is serious as if a man/woman came up to you with a knife and said I'm gonna kill you you ll be live it right so these hit list may be a treat but they most likely will follow with plans.

Because they have the access to things that create violence, like guns and bombs. They think violent videogames are awesome in their messed up little heads, and think that just because they are being emo and they're angsting teens, no one in the world has ever gone through what they go through.
