i was reading some answers to a question earlier and someone said something about being able to FEEL the heartbeat at 15 weeks by pressing below belly button? is this true/possible? if so, how do i know it is not my own pulse??

This is just my opinion, but I think that is impossible. The baby is too small at that point.

Baby's pulse is about 130 beats a minute, yours is usually 90.

you can only feel it if the baby is big enough, and close to the outside of the uterus. Its highly unlikely that you'd feel it at 15 weeks, maybe at 25-30 weeks when the baby is bigger and the uterus is thinner.

it is your own pulse, transmitted through the umbillical cord, i often wondered too if it was my baby's heart i was feeling but my doctor told me there is no way it would be strong enough to feel. In early stages of pregnancy the heart is too small for you to feel and in later stages the baby is too well-formed for you to be able to feel his/her inner organs. The umbillical cord is the culprit here

i hate to break it you but the only heartbeat you are gonna FEEL in your stomach at 15 weeks is your own. yes you may mistake it for the baby's but its not its yours. sorry

I felt my babys the other day. I thought it was hiccups at first but it was way too fast. I left my hand there a minute, it was so amazing.

And there're also people on here who think they feel "flutters" at 8 weeks.

Yeah, it'd be your own pulse.
