One thing that everyone forgot to mention is that early September is in the middle of hurricane season and Myrtle Beach and points north can be very much in a hurricane's path. So do plan your trip because Myrtle Beach is a nice place to go in September But also do buy some form of travelers insurance to protect you in the event of a hurricane.

It shouldn't be deathly hot, but just about perfect....the crowds will be gone, the hotels will be cheaper and everything will still be open......
