stop having periods and only get it back once you want a child. Would you?

I'm on the pill and I skip periods because they're complete hell for me. I seriously turn into the Devil. So I would definitely stop them until I want a child.

two smart chix above me. I answered one like this somewhere else. I don't think that it is healthy to chemically interfere with your bodies processes. Just imagine what would happen to you if there was a pill that would stop you from going to the bathroom (1 or 2). A lotion that would stop you from sweating... have you heard of the link between anti-perspirant and breast cancer.

Well, after doing some light research I've found a lot of links that suggest that skipping periods may decrease your risk of cervical cancer. I'm having a tough time believing this and think it may be a marketing strategy, trust me, big pharm companies do not really care about you. The only sense it can make to me logically is if there are stem cells in menstruation and they are reabsorbed into the system.

I'm sticking to my original answer that skipping is bad for you.
