In some states you can go alone. I think that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard though. There are complications with abortions and you might never be able to have children when you really want them later on. There are also so many couples out there waiting for a baby who can't have one and then you are going to throw your's in a trash can? You need an adult mentor to help you make an adult decision. If not a parent, then an adult that you can trust. Maybe a pastor, his wife, priest, youth leader...someone. Please don't kill your baby =( It is a miracle from God!

Realistically speaking, it depends on your age.
If you are under the age of 18 and are not an emancipated minor, you have to have your parent (s) consent to have a medical procedure done.
Having an abortion is a traumatic experience to go through and I wouldn't wish it on anyone to go it alone.
I had two miscarriages, and had to have a D & C with both. D and C is a procedure to scrape and collect the tissue (endometrium) from inside the uterus. Dilatation ("D") is a widening of the cervix to allow instruments into the uterus. Curettage ("C") is the scraping of the contents of the uterus. That basically means, that is what they do in an abortion, the difference your body has had a spontaneous abortion, (miscarriage).
I know I am sounding cold when I said that, but it's the only way I can describe it. The whole ordeal is really traumatic and if I were you I wouldn't worry about the consequences of being pregnant with your parents, I would try to look it as an adult and discuss things with them. There are other options other than abortion. You have to do some soul searching, and think about what your options are and what's best for you, your situation and your beliefs. There are a lot of people out there that would be happy to adopt a baby, but again it has to be whats best for you and your situation.

Call your local Planned Parenthood or some clinic like that and ask. States have different laws regarding age and parental "notification", this is not the same as parental "permission". I do not think you need a parents Consent or permission anywhere right now, though there's some working hard to change those laws.

No, depending on where you live if you are over 14 or 16 years of age or go to court, you do NOT need a parent. I'm not American, but I've heard that in America you can get your boyfriends parent to pretend to be your guardian if you live in a state with disgusting laws that require a parent's consent. Good luck!

I dont know what situation your in, if its rape or an just an unwanted pregnancy. If your a child that is pregnant like under the age of 15 you need to talk to your doc and see if this pregnancy puts your life at risk. But sweety just keep in mind that adoption is open these days and plenty people want a baby. That baby that you are carring is a life and a part of you and he/she did not ask to be brought here and so of your mistakes your are thinking about murdering your child. Dont do it a baby is a gift from god. But to answer your question if your under age 18 YES you hav to have your parents!! You cant hide it if thats what your scared about cause your parent has to be there. If you dont want it then at least give it the gift of life and give it up for adoption.

Check your state's laws. Some require a parental consent if you are under a certain age. You should let someone else know what you are doing in case you would have any complications.

No you dont, some people may say that you do but you dont. Just try and bring someone with you or they wont let you go home alone. They like to know that you are being cared for by someone. Good Luck Sweetie, you can email me if you want to talk to someone :)

You mean, legally? You'll have to check with the clinic.
As a parent, though, I would really need to know and would be devastated if my daughter went through this on her own, without her mother to help her.

Technically, no. But if you want some support in the waiting area sure. They wont be allowed to be with you during the actual procedure anyway.
