The doctor put him on Zantac but that didn't seem to help anything, I've tried all sorts of differnt formulas, It's probably normal but what if its not. My first was nothing like this one.

My son did this. I would end up drenced and he would too. We found out that he had acid reflex really bad. The doctor gave him some medicine but I don't think it helped that much. I promise it gets better when they start sitting up and moving more. Make sure though that it's not the type of fourmula you are using. Maybe your baby is lactose intolerant. I know it sucks....good luck!

He probably has some reflux. After feedings, sit him up at a 45 degree angle for about 30 minutes. This should help some. As he starts eating more solids, he will stop puking as much. I went through tis with my son too.

My daughter who is now 2 did the same thing. Had her tested and she had reflux. My pediatrician did not put her on any meds, but did tell me NOT to feed her in any layed back position. I had to feed her with her sitting straight up. Once I started doing that, no more problems. She was 3 1/2 months old when she was diagnosed. Good luck.

Try the enfamil AR, but try the ready to feed kind. I know it is more expensive, but it is totally worth it. It is thicker and smoother than the powder/water mix (like chocolate milk....putting chocolate powder in milk vs the stuff that is premixed.....the premixed is thicker and smoother).

The AR works great. My daughter has reflux really bad and had to be put on Prevacid. She is still on it. I fed her frequent, small bottles (every three hours until she was eating solid foods). I started her on cereal and stage 1 baby food when she was 4 months (at her doc's order). I held her upright for 20-30 minutes after every bottle.
Good luck........

My baby did the same thing- i took her to the doctor and they said she had reflux- The little tag in your throat that closes when you eat did not with her. She out grew it but until she did she puked all the time after she ate or drank. She grew out of it after about 7 months

It sould be the formula that you are using. My baby did the same thing and they said it was the formula I had him on. It also could be acid reflux, you probably should get it checked out just in case.

so does my 5 month old. it's normal... as long as it is not projectile, or distressing him/her.

if it seems serious, talk to his doctor. you should be doing a 4 month check up right now... talk about it at your appointment.

odds are... it's normal
