One person could only criticize my grammar, since my comments were written faster than most people can find the keyboard. Are there other people out there who believe beauty pageants are a worth while endeavor and not merely a publicized meat market?

Beauty pageant is a misnomer at worst and a cliche at best. Talent show is a more descriptive terms these days. Skimpy bathing suits are employed to show that all the accouterments are real and not fake. This is for the fashion industry to display their wares without a hint of chicanery as the winner tours .

I don't think they are a worth while endeavor anymore. Our society needs to move past awarding people based on appearances especially in light of the crisis of character and morals going on in our society. If we continue to value superficiality over substance we send the wrong message....

...by the way, from one fast typer to another... the spell check button is very handy in weeding out stupid answers.
