To Dave regarding pork:
Umm no. The extra 20B is there primarily to pay for fixing the VA, veterans benefits in general, and more Katrina funds. This is S.O.P. for any spending bill like this, you throw on it whatever needs funds at the time, whether is very important or pork. Analysis I've read is that this bill is pretty typical, though lighter on pork than average.

It isn't. Most Bush cover-up's are based on national security, top secret claims. It's only the ones where there is a leak that resort to lieing. In those cases, the answer to your question is: How the hell else do you cover something up?

These guys aren't clowns, they have lied to us for years. They lie to us to get us to back them, then they do whatever they want once they have us to fall back on. It's called corruption and we really can't do anything about it unless we begin protesting using civil disobedience. There is no citizen oversight, the people really have no idea what our government is doing.
