It Depends On What The Truth Is For Example You See Your Best Friends Boyfriend At The Movies Snuggled Up With Another Girl You Tell The Truth, But If Your Best Friend Spent Alot Of Money On A New Sweater And Its Hideous You Lie To Spare Her Feelings

Truth is very important. This seems like a loaded question though. Depends on the situation and how important the issue at hand is. If someone is wearing something that looks bad and asks, I tell them that it isn't their best look. If telling a truth has no end result other than causing pain to the other, why tell them. If I know something, but I am not involved other than knowing, it's probably not mine to tell. Sometimes, it's best to leave the truth for the person who owns it to tell it.

Its important to tell the truth although truth hurts... If you think you are doing someone a favour by sparing their feelings, then it is considered as lying..
I rather be told the truth than not known at all.. At least i know and wont be looking like a fool..

depends on the situation and the person involved.
Usually sway on the side of telling the truth, but if it is someone that I know would be hurt by it, I would spare their feelings.

Depends.. sometimes out of politeness you can say little white lies that will spare feelings.. But other situations you really need to try to tell the truth but be gentle about it...

TELL the truth....especially if someone's life depends on it...
Don't give someone your opinion and call it the truth....as in coming out and saying that they look awful, because you dislike what they're wearing or something like that...
That could be YOUR truth, so to speak, but you don't need to share THAT....Just keep that to yourself...because who cares!
But if you see someone you care about making choices that are going to mess up their life....and you feel like you can be honest and straight forward with that person...you NEED to tell
them the truth...as in telling young kids not to get involved with
sex and drugs, breaking the law, stealing...etc....even if you're
someone other than a parent....
If you are a Christian believer and you REALLY care about someone and where they will spend eternity when they leave this world, would you stand by and let that person die unsaved
out of fear of "offending" in the name of political correctness
or whatever....You should do at least make the effort to talk w/someone about where they think they are going to go when
they die...and would they like to be sure that they are going to heaven when they die.If they tell you in no uncertain terms that they do NOT want to hear about it.....you need to back off and respect their privacy....but that doe NOT count for here...There
is no "expectation of privacy" on a site like this as there are ALL kinds of people who are reading this from all over the world and just because SOME people are "offended" and angry at the thought of hearing about Jesus and God's love for
them, there are other people who DO want to hear and will warmly welcome what you have to say....
The TRUTH will ALWAYS trump all this p.c. garbage that is going on in this society...NO EXCEPTIONS there!!! Calling ILLEGAL ALIENS and ISLAMO-FASCIST TERRORISTS just
what they are, REGARDLESS of who wants to throw the race
card at someone when it has NOTHING what so ever to DO with RACE...It's BEHAVIOR.... No one is saying MEXICAN illegals, even though a great number of them are...That is NOT
the POINT..It's WHAT they are doing and the media, etc. just wants to brand ANYONE who says anything against their be-ing here as being RACIST and INTOLERANT...GARBAGE!!!!

To me it is VERY important to TELL THE TRUTH. Yes the truth hurts at times, and there are times and places for the truth, but honesty usually DOES prevail. I shoot straight from the hip and don't mince any words - have my whole life and folks have said, "You're like a bresh of fresh air!" "We know where we stand with you." "I love your being honest!" ..... and more. Not saying I haven't hurt some folks feelings along my life's path, but I haven't kept anything from them either. I tell it like it is - I call em' as I see it.

That's entirely dependant on the circumstances, the issue and the person involved.
Truth is always important, but there's no need to be unnecessarily brutal with it.
Sometimes truth is more important than feelings, yes, but there are exceptions to most "rules."

Tell the truth. You are sparing their feeling that way. It is better to hear the truth from your fineds who want to help you, then from a cruel person trying tohurt you.
