The best way I have found is to bite them back. When I say bite them back I don't mean hard, but enough to let them know that biting hurts. They don't know that biting other people hurts unless you demonstrate the fact that biting others hurts just like when you bite the child.

to be honest all kids go through this and it takes time for it to pass,just tell the child how much it hurts and tell him to think about how it would feel if it was done to him,reward him when he does`nt bite each day

The next time they bite, smack them or punish them. They will learn that every time that they bite, something bad will happen. It's like training a dog not to pee in the house.
