I know I cried too, but he was allergic to the bees.. makes a great story line.

Yes, it was sad I cried. But I think he didnt have to die. For the movie he died i guess to show a lesson about dying in the movie. How she would handle the situation of her friend dying. Also with her handling the fact that her mother died when she was born. She had a hard time coping with that yet she handled it like any kid would not being sure why he died.

Cuz movie companies just wanna make a lot of money by showing death in movies.

omg, the saddest part was when she was like 'He needs his glasses! Where are his glasses!' i cried. probably my favorite movie.
