Most definitely. As far as I'm concerned, ending a life is ending a life. Doesn't matter when you do it.

No way. People make mistakes. No matter how much certain people want everyone to stop having sex unless it is to procreate, it isn't going to happen. We are biologically engineered to want to have sex.

Why bring children into this world if they aren't wanted? Why force someone who isn't financially or emotionally sound to start a family to have a child?

I was 23 years old and in a long term relationship when I had one. I thought I was going to marry the guy. Turns out he never had any intention of marrying me. I don't regret my decision. I don't have long term emotional affects. I don't have long term physical affects. I'm very outspoken about having had an abortion because I refuse to let society shame me for making the right decision.

Had I had a baby at that time, I wouldn't have finished graduate school, and I'd be stuck either with a guy who doesn't love me or alone with a baby. And my career in teaching would not have flourished.

Yes, I would. It's a killing of a fearfully and wonderfully made life. Like it says in Psalms 139:13-16. The process of abortion is a cruel thing, If you knew what it was all about you would probably feel the same, for instance:

D & C Method (dilation and curettage)
Within the first three months of development.
It involves using a loop-shaped knife called a curette to scrape the womb, the baby's body if often cut into small pieces and the head crushed to fit through the opening of the womb.

D & E Method (dilation and evacuation)
In this method a pair of forceps is inserted into the mothers womb where they are used to dismember the baby and drag the parts out the birth canal.

Salt Poisoning (Yes, it's true)
After 20 weeks D & E is no longer practical so this method is used, Using a long needle they inject a salt soloution into the amniotic sac, this salt is swallowed and inhaled by the child causing hemorraging, shock and often painful burning of the skin, the child thrashes about as it slowly dies, usually within and hour and a half, the dead child is then delivered through the birth canal within 2-3 days

10,000-15,000 abortions per year are done during the final 3 months of development, this is:

Hysterotomy abortions
The child is surgically removed from the womb and is laid aside to die from neglect.

Partial-birth abortion
In this method the baby is delivered alive through the birth canal, but feet first, When all of his body except his head is outside the mother, the child is then killed by puncturing the base of the skull and using a suction device to remove his brain, collapsing the skull so the head can fit more conveniently through the opening.

Knowing a little more about what abortion really is makes people see what a horrible process it is; My advice to teens, do what is right, sex before marrige is only putting yourselves in this position. Birth is a beautiful event, and to abuse such a thing is not right. Put God first and he will help you.
Like it says in Proverbes 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."
Also think about what is says in Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you..."

Yes, depending on the situation. If someone was raped then they shouldn't have to bear having a baby of someone who raped them. People put themselves in a lot of situations where a baby could of been prevented but they chose to be careless. Its not fair to the unborn to go through something so devastating like an abortion. What did that unborn child do to you? There are a lot of children in foster care and they're being abused from going to different homes and some don't get adopted at all because of many reasons. And then you have women who aren't able to conceive a child. No, not fair. I would never kill an unborn child. Yes, I would make abortion illegal.

I wouldnt neccessarialy make abortion illegal. I am however against abortion. I feel that if some one is ready to have sex, then they should be ready for what comes along with it. I feel abortion should be illegal in certain cases, like irresponsible people having sex and not using protection to prevent a pregnacy....however...i think it should only be leagal in rapes cases and similar situations!

Absolutely, I think it is murder no matter what the curcumstances are! If you think it is alright to have an abortion at 11 weeks why is it not ok to have one a couple weeks before it is born? It if just as much a human at 11 weeks. Yes some curcumstances can be bad for the mother but ppl still need to stop and think and the innocnet human life that is being killed. Just last week i wrote a paper for school and why abortion should not be legal even in cases of rape. If you would like to read it please email me at iamblonde76@yahoo.com it gived more detail than this

NO, other than late-term abortions when the baby could scientifically survive without the mother or could feel pain. if somebody religiously is against abortions, they will not have one. do not impose on other's rights! abortions shouldn't be used as birth-control, but when
the potential mother isn't healthy enough to give birth,
was the victim of rape or incest,
is a teenager with her whole life ahead of her,
will not care for the child,
or doesn't have the resources to care for the child.

Yes, absolutely. A life is a life, no matter the size. People need to get control of their urges- sex is not a recreational past-time. Too many diseases out there. Too many broken people as a result of recreational sex. Also, there are more deaths as a result of abortion (in addition to the baby) than the pro-abortion/choice people will admit to. Scream and yell all you want, those of you who will support abortion. The facts support themselves. Death is death, and life is not about anyone's convenience or comfort. If we don't want a baby, we should not have sex. Period.

No but I DO think people should not use abortion as a form of birth control. I also feel they should be counseled before making the decision to abort.

No

Abortion is a personal choice or problem that is not for someone else to control. Anyone who has an abortion will need to live with their decision. I don't think it is right to have abortions though

No.

Why should a women's right to control her body and reproduction be thrown back into the stone age because another person's religion doesn't agree with her decision?

The choice is hers, not yours. If you cannot trust her with this decision then how can you trust her with raising a child?

In the United States, in the next 24 hours...
1,439 Teens will attempt suicide
1,440 people will be raped, many of them will be teenagers
2,795 Teenage girls will become pregnant
373 Teenager girls will miscarry
1,295 Teen girls will give birth
1,106 Teenagers have abortions
48 Teens will contract the HIV virus
623 Teenagers will get syphilis or gonorrhea
