so my boyfriend and i were playing around but not having sex and some how my sis found out and she told me something important and i just want to know if its true and i have some other questions. can u have an abortion at 14? Can u get preagnent if u got your period a day after having sex? what are the chances that a condom woundnt work? than my last question is how can u not have sex even if you want to?

You dont have sex even though you want to because you have respect for yourself, respect for the boy you like, and respect for the man you'll marry some day, and most of all, respect for the children you may have some day. Just because you want to do something, or feel the urge to do something doesnt mean you do it.
You can get pregnant any day of your cycle. In rare cases, if you ovulated really close to your period and had sex, you can have a period and still be pregnant as the fertalized ovum takes around 5 days (give or take) to reach and implant in the uterus. You can have a period in that amount of time. Its not common, but you better believe it can happen.
Condoms are only about 83%- 86% effective. Which is about the same for all barrier meathods of birth control (such as female condoms and diaphragms). That means that for every 100 people who use condoms 14-17 of them will end up pregnant.
ABORTION IS NOT BIRTH CONTROL. You do not have unprotected sex, or sex before you're ready for children. Sex results in babies, killing them is not the answer. If you dont want them, DONT make them. You can have an abortion at any age, whether or not you need parental concent I do not know.
Lastly, I dont care how mature you think you are, how old and wise you think you are, but at the end of the day you are a child with a woman's body. That doesnt make you ready for anything, least of all adult relationships which is where sex belongs.
Spend time growing up before you have sex. Hormones only last for the moment, scarred emotions and babies last forever.

Use will power. And words like: No. Honestly, do you think you take leave of your senses and can't make a simple decision. Well, the answer is, yes, if you go so far that you have spent an hour of foreplay preparing to do everything but have sex, it is just going to happen - you will end up having sex. So get good at giving a guy a bj if you think you don't want actual penetration. But if you have to ask questions like this, are you a complete idiot? You shouldn't be having sex play that makes sex inevitable, you shouldn't be becoming an expert at giving bj's at the age of 14 and what the hell do you think your boyfriend is with your for? Sex? Wow, sounds like a great guy - find some extremely reliable birth control for yourself if you really believe he is such a great guy.
Your sister's no expert (I'm kind of worried about you and your sister both since you like to play with sex but seem so clueless - hello, 14 year old pregnant teenager!)
Make an appointment with your doctor. Get good information, reliable birth control, clue your sister in to how important that is and seriously think about what you're doing. You're headed for trouble. I'd say speak to your mother but you know what she is going to say. Oh, hell, ask her anyway. Make her day!

It depends on your state if you can have an abortion. I don't not suggest it though you will regret it latter in life. Have safe sex so you don't get pregnant if you don't want a kid. There could be a possibly that you could be pregnant even if you have your period a day after. There is only a 1% chance that a condom wouldn't work. Respect yourself!!!!

You need to have a long talk with momma. But let me try to help.
1. You can abort at 14. Different states have different abortion laws. If you do plan to have such a procedure, you should tell your mother.
2. Your body can do some crazy stuff when you're sexually active. You can get you period the entire time your pregnant or it may go away completely.
3.Condoms work well, but they are not 100%.

First why are you "playing" around at 14?? Second yes you can have a abortion at 14 with your parents concent. Third, no you can't get pregnant the day before you get your period, well you could but as long as you get your preiod it okay. I think condoms are like 96% evective if used right. To not have sex you need to not put yourself into a situation that would even be near sex, like being naked and alone with a guy. Do other things like watch a movie, walks, lots of talking lol. And if he can't respect your decision not to have sex, tell him to hit the road you are to yound to worry about some guy who isn't someone you are going to be with forever. Have fun!! I wish I would have waited on a lot of things in live... learn who YOU are first!!

You can not have an abortion at 14 without your parent's consent. I don't believe you can get pregnant on your period as that is when the egg was washed out with all the old blood and tissue your body didn't need. If you put it on wrong or it slips or breaks you could get pregnant. Don't date.

abortion for me is not good, babies have lives and if you can't have them, have safe sex. you'll not be pregnant if after you have sex, you have your periods but to avoid to get pregnant, again, have safe sex. condom is very effective but it will not work properly if you and your partner doesn't know how to use it properly. you can't have sex if you're not on the right age, right time, right knowledge, and right person to do it.
