That is a difficult choice! I suppose I prefer "Braveheart", because "300" is so wildly inaccurate historically. "Braveheart" has some errors, but they are minor compared to "300". I read "The Scottish Chiefs" by Jane Porter when I was in elementary school. It is less accurate than the movie, e.g. Wallace dies of a heart attack before being tortured by Edward Longshanks' thugs. In truth, he had a quite unpleasant execution that lasted some time. I won't describe it. The movie does not show all of the gory details, e.g. disembowelment, but it indicates this.
