go to the bank, find the deposit ticket, fill in your name on the lines for the name on the bank account. On the right hand side, fill in the part for cash, checks...what you are depositing. On the bottom you will find boxes for numbers, they are your account numbers, the account numbers are on your bank book...the bank gave you when you opened up your account. you can also find them on your checks (bottom right numbers). Best thing to do is go to the bank, have them explain it to you.....take your bank book or your checking account register.

Ok..if its just cash, you put that amount on the top line and then on the bottom total line. If you have checks you individually list the checks then total. If you have both follow both intructions. If you want money back from one of the checks...you list all checks then there is a line just above the total line where you write what you want back. then the total line will be reflecting that cash back.
ex...
chk..108.00
chk..200.00
cash back...20.
total..deposit...188.00
hope this helps.
