Gamecube - will a SCART splitter degrade the video signal?

I've got too many consoles, and I hate having to swap cables all the time. A SCART splitter looks like a good idea, but will it make the signal fuzzy?

I have such a setup, and I have no problems.

actually I have a little video box with many inputs and one output and a remote for selecting the channels. Cost me 20 bucks or something like that.

Not at all, i got dvd,video,xbox,and playstation through a scart splitter and have no problems at all. ( apart from a big electricity bill, and a high carbon reading ).
