A-Rod has a no trade clause in his contract. He isn't going anywhere. Besides he is scheduled to make 27 mill. this year and 32 mill. in each of the next two seasons, how many teams can afford him? A-Rod is an immensly talented player with the fragile psyche of 5 y/o child. He'll put up good numbers as usually but he'll fail when it counts....just like always. I'm glad he's stuck on the yankees....they deserve him!

If the Yankees are smart they would trade A-Rod while they can still get something for him. It's better to do that then letting him walk away at the end of this year and getting nothing in return.

I don't think that he would accept a trade, so this is not likely. If he did accept a trade, it would be only to a playoff quality team, and the Yankees would have to be out of the race which is not likely by the trade deadline July 31.

No I don' think so. A-rod is a big time player and he's on a big time team. It's only a matter of time until he comes around. When he comes around, watch out. I think the Yanks would be foolish to give up on him right now.

He's kinda like Ramirez....tough to deal with, but you would never get fair market value if you did a deal. It might be best if he opts out, but is he as daring as JD Drew was and hope for a better deal elswhere? He might get it, who knows?
