You use them to clean yourself after using the bathroom, they are especially helpful when you're having your period. You have to keep yourself clean and those cloths are made for that delicate skin and sensitive environment. You can also use them to wipe out your armpits and underneath your bra.

They are basically baby wipes. My advice is to only use toilet paper; most of those wipes along with all the other female toiletries cause vaginal infections. I know because I used the wipes and a vaginal soap about 6 months ago and I have been fighting bacterial vaginosis ever since. My doctor says only toilet paper, and dye-free, perfume-free soap down there.

dont use the always or playtex one. It is cheaper to buy the store brand flushable wipes (usually made for toddlers or the package says that). It is for wiping your butt in addition to toliet paper and can be used for wiping yourself during your period, when you go to the bathroom. The brand name women's product companies got into the bathroom wipe craze and charge more for less than cottenelle, or store brands. I buy the walmart brand 'equate flushable wipes' in the blue package. More for less money.

They are probably safe for anywhere. But gentle enough for "down there".
