The START does not show them, please tell me where I can go to see all of my applications, and if you do not know, just post I DO NOT KNOW, just so I know if other people are having the same problem as me. Download and install the free Belarc Advisor from http://www.belarc.com as it will list all programs installed with versions from the registry (with some application keys that you should have), which is really where programs live.

Most applications can be found in the c:\program files, however, sometimes people use different paths. One way you can find out what you have is to go to CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.

That will display a list of everything program that is registered in Windows. Then, you can know for what you are looking. That gives you a name for the application. Then you can find out where it is on the computer using Windows Explorer and Search.

Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs
this will list stuff installed on the computer

You can also browse around in
My Computer > C:/ > Program Files

Most of the programs installed on the computer are by default put in C:\Program Files\.
So, open Windows Explorer and go to Program Files directory and you`ll see all the programs installed.

to see a list of all the programs available on your computer go to start| control panel| add or remove programs and it will show you all the programs already on your computer

To actually use them you should go to My computer| Local disk C: | Program Files and there you will see all program files and you will be able to luanch them and acces them BUT be carefull what you do. when in doubt, if you want to launch a program, look for a "special", for lack of a better word, icon for example yahoo has that Y! and the :-)
