Jim is his father figure. Jim cares so Huck (as well as Tom, later in the story) as his own son. Huck's own father, Pap, was an abusive drunk who kidnapped him from the Widow Douglas (his guardian). Pap is not a good example of a father, but Jim makes up for it in the story by becoming Huck's father figure.

It's been so long since I read those adventures, but if I remember correctly he seemed to always ask advice from his black friend Jim...So, in my opinion Jim would be the father figure.
