I think he could beat his 100 point game record, I Mean the man scores 55 points a half, 30 points a quarter. He just needs to be like that the whole game and there you go

I also think he will beat his 50 point game streak (7) he already has 4, he got 2 easy teams coming up, so thats 6 and I think he could score 50 against any team so he'll be fine.

And this will be the one I get criticized for the most, but I think (if he wants to) he could average over 50 points a game next season.. I mean we've already seen what he can do over 4 games, and we've seen him do it many times before... I'm not saying he will score over 50 points for ALL 81 games in a season, maybe go for 60, and then just go for 40. but what i'm saying is I think he could AVERAGE 50 points, anyone agree?? cause I'm sure a LOT of people disagree? (haters)

Im sorry to break it to you, but nobody cares about Kobes record. He had 50 points last night, sure, but he also had 0 assists that really helped his team out. Besides, hes been playing against trashy teams, and theyre barley winning their games too, its sad that the Lakers cant win unless Kobe scores 50. Theyre in for a rude awakening come playoffs time. Kobe is a dirty ballhog, so nobody is really happy for him. Personally, I hope Kobe punches somebody else in the face tonight and gets suspended.

He has no chance of beating Wilts record, if youre talking about the most 50+ point games ever. He could beat the 7 game record though. But I will give him that hes the best offensive player in the NBA. The thing is, players like LeBron, Wade, Carmelo, and Gilbert Arenas can score 50 points if they felt like it, but they just acknowledge the fact that THEY HAVE A TEAM (except Carmelo).

I think he could definitely beat wilts record if only he was on a different team. If he was on a team like new Orleans i think he could do it. I think that the other players on LA want to score too, especially Smush Parker taking a lot of shots. Also, Farmar, Buyacic, and Kwayme are a little trigger happy. If he was on New Orleans, he would have CP3 to give him looks in good spots. Also, Chandler could probably get him some extra chance on the offensive glass. Finally not many people on New Orleans take a lot of shots and they would be happy to defer to Kobe for an entire game. As for averaging 50 points per game it would be really difficult. Just because he will come across some solid defenders that will hold him to 20 lol. (Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier, Lebron, and Tayshaun) Also he probably will come across of games were he every shot doesn't go in. I think he could average 40 if he wanted to but he really wants to seem like a more team oriented player.

Whew...I don't know about the last one. He probably COULD score 50 a game, but Phil Jackson would go crazy and resign, plus it would probably be bad for the Lakers with all their young players trying to gain confidence and what not.

I've believed from the very beginning Kobe could beat Wilts record of 100 points in a single game. I think it'll be out of the blue, no one seeing it coming, like his 81 point game.

Kobe has a shot to break Wilt's 50 point game streak coming up here, but honestly I think he'll stop at 6. I don't see Jeff Van Gundy and his defensive mind letting it happen. He'll probably start quadruple-teaming him before he lets that happen.

I don't think you are crazy, but only in terms of beating the 100 point record. The other records are safe. He would need a lot of things to fall into place to break 100:

Probably two overtimes
RED HOT shooting
Plenty of help from teammates
Bad opponent
