At which point machine gets restarting? If while starting windows its restarting means you have to recover the windows operating system first..!(which OS you are using) if while starting its self its starting means you have to check power supply. After windows its gets restarting means you have to check the virus and spy wares.

Maybe you need a new block of ram or its your hard drive or its a video/system driver, or is your computer overheating from having too much dust built up, feel the right side of your computer around the CPU area (looking at it from the front) if its hot remove the power, remove the cover, then remove dust by blowing it out, but don't touch anything as you can still be shocked or damage your computer.

If all else fails try this.

May have a faulty power supply. This will happen if computer is old or if you have a crappy power supply.

Tigerdirect.com has some good ones. Get the Ultra ones they are the best.

It could be many things. You could have a bad power supply, bad memory, or a virus. I would just get it re-formated. That means put your operating system back on it if you didnt know.
