I just saw him perform for the first time last night with others at the Berks Jazz Fest. I feel cheated because this is the first I've heard of him and his music and voice completely moved me.
What is your take on him?
When he performed 'No Woman No Cry' (Marley) it was AMAZING!

He is FANTASTIC!!
Back in the 80's, when I was in high school, he opened for a Whitney Houston show in my hometown of Biloxi, MS. He had a single getting a lot of radio play then called "Lies". If you didn't get to hear it last night, look it up.
I was a fan from first hearing the song, then seeing him live was INCREDIBLE! It's been a long time, now I'm going to have to see if I still have my old cassette of his. If not, I'm going CD shopping, LOL.
