Men and women are equal.Agree or disagree?

Within the context of society & culture, it depends on which one. Most s&c's around the world treat women as second class citizens. Some even reguard women as property. I think the more advanced (modern) the society is, the more equal women are treated. Biologically speaking women and men are obviously not equal in the sense that each sex has characteristics unique to that sex. Although there are too many to detail here, some examples generally speaking are:
Men- stronger, provider of "goods", adventurous (wander and seek), protector, tools (maker,user).
Women- communication, caregivers, multi-tasking, problem solvers, mediators, child bearing and rearing.
Having said all that, it is my personal opinion that men and women are equal and should be treated as such. Therefore, yes, I agree.

no women are generally superior in many ways. I think men are afraid of women. Women out number men, and can have a very powerful vote. are women traeted as equals? not by a long shot.

It depends on your definition of "equal"
Men and women are built different, and men are typically stronger. Women are "typically" better at dealing with emotions.
Intellectually, we're equal, though there are some differences in our choices regarding careers.
The real difference is in what we are paid and our levels of advancement in those careers.

Mentally yes. However, physically I can not pick up a fridge or couch or do the physical labor that my hubby does.

disagree! women have all the power and since questions like this are asked it proves that they are not equal because their intelligence less.
