My avatar was taken hostage almost a month ago. I've inquired about it on two occasions, but I just get the same generic responses- "We're working on it...at this time we cannot provide a date when the problem will be resolved...yadda yadda yadda...thank you!"

I think they take the attractive ones, use them in improper ways, then give them back when they are tired.
