I'm a freshman in college right now. I thought I would major in Industrial Engineering. I'm not doing so well in my classes now, so I don't think I could make it as one. I was thinking about other majors and I thought about atmospheric science. Does anyone know if atmospheric science is easier or harder than industrial engineering? I'm not set on atmospheric science but I would also like to know what's out there. Does anyone know of a career that doesn't require me having to save someone's life but also gets a pretty good salary? For example, I know I don't want to be a doctor because I would feel really terrible if one of my patients died. Thanks for any responses.

I suggest you talk to your academic counselor. He will have advice based on your desires and academic record

Since you're an engineering major, you must be strong in math,so you might consider majors in a mathematics field.
