I use Elizabeth Arden flawless finish as it is quick to apply with the sponge applicator and built in mirror and it doubles up as a great concealer, it also looks really natural even though it gives you good coverage and compared to many other foundations with the same specifications is a very reasonable price.
Maybe I should get a job at Elizabeth Arden lol.

I have heard Chanel Teint FluideUniversal Satin Finish is good.
I also liked the Bourjois range, esp Happy Light (their best seller)although you have to see which one is good for your skin type.
I think if you're skin is very oily, mousse id good. If it's dry or normal fluid is best as it looks most natural esp that I need good coverage, powder or mousse ,compact or all others are for light coverage).
The thing to do is get a small sample of each you want to try,try it for a few days & see what you think or beter ask others how i tlooks.
some tips, don't apply foundation all over the face everywhere, it looks too much & cakey, apply little at a time, increase as you go along & only apply to places you think need coverage. It looks more natural.
Also make sure skin is moisturized before applying.
also I discovered this tip lately, applying these new gradual tan creams (I got the Johnson & Johsnson Body ones as they're stronger I think but use it on my face) really gives your skin a wonderful healthy look. so it's worth a try!

I use MAC foundation. I've tried for YEARS to find a foundation that looks good on me. I use the Hyper Real foundation because it makes my skin look balanced and dewy. (I hate that powdery look). I believe it cost me $20.00 or so..but it's worth it. You would probably love it.
I heard Loreal makes a foundation that adapts to your skin color and tone..I have yet to find it.
For years I used Mary Kay foundation and I loved it. Only the past few years my skin starting breaking out when I was using it. I can only think they changed something in their formula.
Good luck with MAC. My friend turned me onto it last winter. I asked her what makeup she used because her skin and makeup always looked so great so she showed me her makeup bag, and there was the MAC foundation. You should go to Nordstrom or somewhere where they have a MAC counter so you can find the exact shade you need. After you get the right one, you can reorder from MAC's website or from another retailer that sells MAC. There are places on the web where you can find it cheaper than you do at the store.

Mac is very good. I just bought L'Oreal Age Reperfect foundation - heard good reports about it, and I love it. It gives a very natural look, is easy to apply and keeps your skin looking fresh all day.

I use L'oreal Bare Naturale and it works really well. It covers very good and does not feel like I am even wearing makeup. I will never go back to liquid foundations again.
