If people think like you, that is "first news is best news" then nobody would be reading news papers. When you have millions of web sites and dozens of TV channels, still the circulation of news papers is in crores in India.

News is not knowing about something, but also getting a compete details , analysis, reaction by various authorities and people, follow up, improvements etc. This is the reason, everyone prefers to read news papers. If you observe, almost every channel gives some wrong news 9you will realize next day) in an attempt to 'be the first'. Also, lot of rumors are spread only because of news channels as no two channels report the same.

Now, tell me, which is better .'Quick news' or 'Proper news'?

Daydreamer,

People take their news in different ways. You are assuming that the people who receive the newspaper the following morning have watched the previous evening's news.

Aside from that keep in mind that a :30 - :60 report on a news story cannot replace the in-depth analysis that a newspaper can provide.

Personally.I stopped getting the paper..as I can get my news elsewhere.not to mention most of them are so biased.....Mainstream media networks likewise...I go to the internet to learn more and only watch "local news" then or I watch cable news.they are more on the money in their reports and leave the viewer to decide their own oppinion as to what issues are valid and truthfull.I love a good debate....
