Jamarcus Russell deserves to be the 1st QB picked no doubt, but unless you desperately need a QB, then you need to draft Calvin Johnson. The Raiders will get Dante Culpepper from the free agency back with Randy Moss and draft CJ.

Wow, yall white people are delusional. Yall just cant stand to see a black QB be taken first huh? But yall have no problem with Reggie Bush or LT. Yes Russell deserves it he's better than Quinn. Fu*k Charlie Weis and his NFL offense. If anyone goes before Russell it should be CJ and thats it.

Oakland needs a Qb.He has unbelievable size and arm.But did anyone even know he was before the bowl game.Michigan and Usc ripped apart nd also.SO I still think Quin will be around longer in the nfl.Johnson is the stud of the draft but you have to go with the position you realy need.For oakland that is qb

CJ is the highest rated player in the draft. Russell still deserves it though! The Raiders need a franchise qb!

no. Calvin johnson is an elite prospect. Jamarcus Russell showed up at the combine overweight and probably doesnt have great work ethic. i see him falling down to #9 maybe even farther

Brady Quinn should have it but Russell is just as deserving because he is more skilled while russell is more ready for the NFL.
