I want to download Firefox, but am afraid if I do, it will erase everything on my system. Can anyone ease my fears? I want to do this for a website so that I can chat on the message boards there. Thank you!! PS-This is for the Macintosh OS X Computer

I have been using Firefox for a couple of years now and don't want to change.. It is SAFE and the best out there in my opinion.. I am not sure about MAC version but it will definitely be something better than what you are using now, trust me ;)

p.s. Installing a second browser (Firefox) won't erase your old one (Safari).. I have 3 browsers on my pc, firefox, opera & the standard windows IE..

Good luck,

yeah I use both no problem - in fact Firefox will actually get all your sortcuts ect from Safari an dvery occasionally I've found a website that's been badly coded and won't work in Safari does manage it in Firefox.
