Assuming it's a legal PS3 and bought from a legitimate retailer it is only 1 day old. Take it back to where you purchased it. They will exchange it provided you have not mistreated it. I work for Argos and we have exchanged two already. Good Luck.

If the system is broken on its own (you didn't drop it, kick it, etc.), try calling Sony at 1-800-345-SONY. The system should have a 90-day warranty from factory defects; I'm not sure exactly what they will require, but most likely they will ask if you have the store receipt and the proof-of-purchase off the box the system came in. After 90 days, they may still repair it, but expect to be charged for shipping and repairs.

Customer Service Hours:
Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
Sunday 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM PST

There is also a link for e-mailing Sony Customer Service here:

Hope this helps!

If I'm correct they give you a year warranty. If you lost it or something try calling the manufacture and tell about your problems. If they said they will replace it, that's good for you if they cant well got to the store and replace.

either call the people you bought it from or call Best Buy and ask to bring it in and have them check it, or if you broke it by say like stepping on it then I think that it's not Best Buy's problem and the only choice you would have would to be call the company.
