Simple:

Using Internet Explorer

↓ Internet properties
↓ General Tab
↓ Browsing history
↓ Delete History
↓ Delete Forms

To get to Internet properties

Tools
Internet Options


Using FireFox

↓ Tools
↓ Clear Private Data
↓ Tick Clear Forms and Browsing History

I will assume that you need to delete a single entry.

Drop the address bar with the arrow.
Left-click on the address you'd like to get rid of.
Right-click the address and select delete.

If you want to delete every single entry go to tools, Internet options, General tab, delete history.

click Tools>Internet Options
*it displays a window, on browsing history section:
click delete, history, cookies

I just did that. Just go to a bunch of websites that you havn't been to before, and it'll knock the others off!
