do a google quote search...
for example if his/her name is jdsdh sjdsh, google for "jdsdh sjdsh" including the quotes...
another way is join orkut and search for your school's community - but that would work only if he/she is a member

google or white pages type in the school you went to or there full name and then on white pages type in there name and the state ect or find out where they were living when you knew them.
