The bike is a Honda Shadow 750. I do not know which size box trailer to rent. Should I get the 5x8 or 6x12?

5x8 is plenty... same as a long bed pickup

A 5x8 should be plenty. Your wheelbase is a little over 5 ft. so an 8 ft. will get the job done. Be sure to use soft ties on your handlebars if you are using tie-downs so you won't scratch the bike. If you know what canyon dancers are, do not use these. They are good for sportbikes, not a wide handlebar cruiser bike. Enjoy your machine and be safe!! Sales Manager

I'm not sure what the lenghth of a Honda Shadow is.My harley is a little over 7 1/2 feet so you might want to get the 8' bed.

I'd get the 6 X 12 My motorcycle trailer is bigger than that. I would go a size bigger if Uhaul offers one...You'll want to get it strapped in good. Shadow is a big bike.

5x8 should work for you you just might have to turn the bike one an angle.

5 X 8 is a big enough floor. Check the height of the box, I don't remember what it is.
