Big Ego!? I dated once a girl ,which was like that. Past the blaming everything on other' s, she would not let me eat more then she could and my calorie intake was around 5 times as much then hers at that time. I taught her driving, she was very smart, got it quick and didn't blame me to much for her stumbling. Her daddy loved me, because he lost his son at seven and never got over it. Her mother hated my guts with a passion and found a way in the end, to part us. If its the result of a healthy ego, I don't think, wiping of blame is such a bad think, it can serve as protection. Clinton did it and he was very good for the US, Bush does it and he is the greatest a..hole alive. So, I don't have a name, but I think it comes in different packages and can be good. It's an attitude, most leaders need to get over failure. In criminals its dangerous.

The tendency to emphasize personal traits and ignore situational influences is call fundamental attribution error. We tend to attribute other people's actions and misfortunes to their personal traits, rather than to situational forces. This is why we hear attributions of laziness or low intelligence to the poor or homeless, rather than an externally imposed lack of opportunity. We use the same process to explain other's successes. You may ascribe the success of someone to personal traits, such as talent or motivation while ignoring the effects of situational forces.

I have read alot of relationship books and have heard them just referred to as 'the blamer' or possibly the blaming is a charasteristic of a 'defensive' person. I dont know if there is something more technical though.
