? name of movie about a small town scottish concert band preparing for a contest?

The members of the band are losing their jobs at a factory but are still practicing for this national concert contest. There is a young woman who joins the all male concert band and she is also the headhunter of the factory.

All the actors are scottish I think and unknown to me. Not major stars. At the end of the movie the leader of the concert band has a heart attack (not fatal) and is unable to conduct the band in the competition. Cant remember much else.
