Ok, in the creation of the world, the hen came first... but if you are not a creationist, you might be an evolutionist... then it would be the egg... cause according to that theory, everything started with a cell... and then developed to an egg form! I am a creationist, who believes with pure faith that all things were created by a Heavenly Being... man and woman were created in His image, after the world was created of course, and formed, then came the animals and many varieties of creatures here! Man was placed in the Garden to take care of all the animals, as well as the vegetation.... So, I can be sure that the hen (chicken) came before the egg!

There is a very simple way to solve this.

Go to a diner and order a fried chicken dinner and an omelet.

That will be as definitive an answer as science will ever be able to offer.

I could answer this question, but I can't remember. I went to a Rocky Horror picture and one of the guys who was walking around and talking... told me the best theory on this. And when I read this question... I was just like Dammit!! I wish I could answer this for you.
