What is your favourite Jan Auten novel? Many people like Pride and Predjudice but I have always preffered Emma

I LOVE Pride and Prejudice - also enjoy Sense and Sensibility. Have you seen the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice? Amazing - definately worth a watch! I love the film of Emma, but have never been able to get into the book unfortunately, though I have tried!! :-(

Persuasion was always my favourite, I was a little put off Pride and prejudice because we had too study it to death at school and it kind of ruined it.

I think Sense & Sensibility is her best novel.
I was disappointed with Northanger Abbey, and much as I like Pride & Prejudice, I don't think the film did it justice.
