When I was in high school up to 1/2 a pack a day. I loved smoking in my car with the radio blasting on a summer day. It was the best thing in the world then. I would stop every couple of months just to quit and try to be healthier. Eventually when I graduated, I only "socially" smoked on the weekends- almost a pack per weekend. When I entered college I smoked a bit the first semester- but not much- about a pack per two weeks. Now that I'm ending my second year of college, I technically quit, but every once a while (like once every two months) I smoke a few cigs because I like to smoke while I drink.

I have smoked since 1990, when I joined the Air Force.

I smoke about 4 to 8 cigarettes per day. At one point, when I was in Kuwait and there was nothing to do except fix airplanes and smoke, I smoked 2 packs a day. For the most part, though, less than half a pack per day.

I know. "So why don't you quit?" Simple. It's like eating a piece of candy for me. I don't smoke that much and it's more of a social thing for me.

I am afraid I do.....probably a pack and a half a day. My greatest desire right now is to quit but I can't seem to get motivated to do it. Do you smoke?
