Not a lot really, nowadays you can become a "celebrity" for sleeping with someone who's a bit famous or just sitting around on your ar*e in a big house while loads of brain dead people watch you bi*ch and argue with other people.

what is this world coming to??!!

(oh my god I'm turning into my mum!)

Being in the public eye all the time and having your photo in every celeb magazine and then if you feel as if your popularity is fading then your publicist will get you to do something that brings you back into the media attention. (Whether that be dancing on tables, not wearing underwear, adopting a child or going to re-hab, or shaving off your hair).

Going on some stupid reality TV show, causing a massive riot all over the world and getting thousands of pounds worth of publicity for it basically. Its sad really, most people are getting famous these days because of this.

Nothing anymore.
The whole 'celebrity' thing has been cheapened by the flood of Reality television programmes.
In the old days, celebrity was something you earned with talent.
Nowadays folk are famous for being themselves on reality telly...!
It just doesn't do it for me.

Well, let me see. There is: being rich and famous, having a big house, having fans, being on TV, being wanted, and being pretty and hansom, doing drugs, going to rehab, leaving rehab, being meen, paying by fan's $, and coming from a rich family.

I Hope You Have A Nice Day,

You get to the point of being famous for simply being famous. You no longer are known for what you do. Rather you are known for who you are.

Example: Paris Hilton...what exactly has she done other than be born into a uber-rich family.
