I have four kids, spoiled with every material thing from everyone around them, so I can give you a good answer. Give the child your TIME. Maybe a card with a little money in it and tell her that you will take her out for the afternoon somewhere fun. How about taking her to a petting zoo/farm place? Or just tell her that you are going to spend 2 hours just playing games with her. My kids always love this, while their toys of PLASTIC pile up in the corners. Good luck.

but she is just 2 it wont matter too much to a 2 year old on what you get.

A rubik's cube. I know it sounds stupid but it teaches her problem solving and it has been shown in some cases to improve your IQ if your still young enough when your given one. They arent expensive either so its a lasting present that intrigues everyone.

A trip to the zoo (an experience, instead of another "thing").
