Because we feel insecure. Dating a beautiful woman helps our self-esteem.
Not all men go for this approach though - others prefer to forgo quality in favour of quantity.

It's not true that ALL men are looking for ONLY beautiful women. I've found that some of the most beautiful people are those who are external beauty challenged. Some of the most ugly men are those who think they are good looking.
Men are just that way though. They are more like the animals of the wild, looking to spread their seed far and wide. The more attractive a woman, the more likely she is in good health and able to produce healthy and strong children.
BUT that's just in theory. I've always found that taking time to know someone makes them feel more at ease with me and are more likely to open up and be a real friend/companion.

Men are funny creatures.. I say that to say they may look at a woman that is beautiful only because it is what they see when they are looking. Have you ever heard of "the first impression"? Well when men see a woman that is all put together that is the first impression. So it isn't that they are falling in love with that woman it's just that she is beautiful to look at. But there is another saying "beauty is only skin deep" So even though that woman may be beautiful on the outside she could be rotten on the inside. My suggestion for all those women out there who may not think that they are beautiful..Take what you have and dress it up. Get your hair done. If know one has given you a compliment on your hair lately then get a new style, clean your nails and get a pedicure. Don't wear fitting clothes if you are full figured and always hold your head up when you are walking not down. When you hold your head up it is a sign of confidence. And you have to be confident in yourself and know that you are beautiful and most of all have a sweet spirit and be true to who you are. Hope that helps.

Hi there. For some reason many men not all feel that they are not a real man without their throphy woman and yes alot of the time these guys are no catch at all! The reason could be because of their insecurites, media and they believe that without this beautiful, skinny, young woman then they are not studs. That's not true of every man at all. Some men actually have great taste and are far more interested in someone who has a great personality which makes them more beautiful than your typical "supermodel" fantasy girl.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. I am sure you want a beautiful man too. Why date someone that you did not consider beautiful? Even in your own way.
I think it is normal and right for men to be like that. I know all women are!

Men only like beautiful women because men like to brag about it.Are proud of it.Also it's in ones nature to try to find a beautiful partner in life because a person wouldn't want to go out with a repulsive person.Men are superficial and they need a beautiful person to make them human.

i know that guys love a hot chick but many of these beautiful women are shallow. It is hard to find a beautiful woman with good personality

REAL men love women who are attractive in MANY ways. They can be pretty, they can be smart, they can be witty, they can be shy, all those things can be very attractive to a man who is a REAL man, and uses his head as well as his p_____ when he looks for a woman.
