I'm not sure it's legal to buy human remains, Universities have cadavers donated by volunteers, I know this because it was my Dad's ambition to become a cadaver. However, I believe you have to be studying an appropriate subject to have access.

There are artificial ones available from scholastic supply shops etc but I don't know how much they are.

I have a genuine cat skull on my bookcase. It belonged to Beauty, my ex cat. He died when he was 14 (I've promised 14 year old Jet that he'll join Beauty one day ... they were co-cats so their skulls won't be strangers) and I buried him.

On learning that the council were going to knock down my bungalow for a new development, I couldn't face the thought of bulldozers crashing through his skull so I dug him up; washed out the remaining grey matter - it really is grey and gave him pride of place in my bed room.

The first thing my best friend does when she visits is nips in to say Hello to Beauty. Ahhhh!

A REAL medical supplies shop will sell you a false one if you can prove you're a medical student. . . .
