Has it ever worked properly? Can your PC handle the speed of your connection? Your setup is wrong somewhere or Orange have got technical problems which do happen from time to time. They should have a technical help line advising of any disruption to services in your area so call that number. If there are no problems, it's your PC. If they don't have a help line, change service provider.

This seems to be a common issue in all ISP, Talk Talk also do this alot, try switching off your modem for 2 minutes, that usually does the trick for me!

There are lots of different reasons why it could be happening. I suggest you contact Orange Tech Support and ask their advice.

Complain like hell in writing to their managing director AND claim a refund for loss of service - if necessary keep a record. That usually does the trick ! ! !

I use VersionMedia (NTL) for 2 years now and this hardly happens.. You should contact Orange Tech Support and tell them about it.. If they didn't fix it i suggest you move to VirginMedia :)

Good luck,

Sometimes this can be solved by downloading and installing the latest driver for you modem.

Worth trying, sorted my Tiscali connection problem last month.
