Anyone know any mobile phone retailers that do trade in for your old phone when buying a new one?

There are plenty of companies out there that will take a trade in. However beware... they will offer you at least 50% of the true value of your phone; just think about it they dont actually want it, they just want to sell you the new one.

My advice is to sell your old phone on Ebay. Even my old Samsung phone with cracked screen sold for £20!

Give it a go and dont get ripped off!

it really all depends on the carrier and what specials are going on at the time. I know Cingular had a special at the end of 2006 that if you brought in an old phone from a competitor you would get credit towards a new phone with them. I would suggest just contacting the carriers near you and see what they say.

As most phones are free these days because of various contracts etc etc.Why not donate your old phone to a worthy cause there are a few schemes doing the rounds at the moment,e.g.Help the blind.

i know that the orange shop were doing a trade in on old phones but i am not sure if they are still doing it you could call customer services and ask if its still on number is 07973100450

i think most of them do now but they offer you about £10 so its best to sell it somewhere (ie ebay) and just put that towards it. also, if you have a second hand mobile shop near you they will probably buy yours, depending on what it is.
